I am a Senior Manager in Discovery and Exploratory Statistics (DIVES) at AbbVie. Before joining AbbVie, I was an Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Loyola University Chicago. I received my Ph.D. in Statistics from the Department of Statistics at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I worked with Professor Jingyi Jessica Li. I received my M.S. in Economics from Nankai University in 2012 and B.S. in Computer Science from Dalian University of Technology in 2007.
My research focuses on developing statistical and machine learning methods for large-scale genomics and proteomics data. My work relates to applications in pharmaceutical statistics, health informatics, and electronic health records. My research projects were supported by NIH and institutional grants. I am also interested in applying artificial intelligence to social and medical science.Â
