Hi, I'm Urmila Chadayammuri,  the Astronomy & Astrophysics Editor at Nature.

In my career as an astrophysicist, I worked at MPIA and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I received my PhD in Astronomy from Yale University. 

I grew up between Russia and India, studied in the United States and now live happily in Germany, so I end up caring a lot about immigration justice and strengthening democracy.
