Lewin Diaz

Lewin Diaz is the number six prospect for the Miami Marlins who plays first base. Diaz currently plays for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, the Triple-A affiliate for the Miami Marlins. Diaz is like the current Marlins First Baseman Aguilar and can be a great asset to the team on Aguilar's days off. Diaz has been considered to be the next starting first baseman for the Marlins in the show, and they have no plan to get rid of him for a while. However, Diaz's hitting is what is highlighted the most. Diaz currently has eight home runs this season including two in a game against Durham on July 16th. We see a lot of potentials not only in his fielding skills, but we mainly see the marlins utilizing him as a DH during his first season with them.
