Nestled in Trenton, New Jersey, Arm and Hammer Park serves as home to the Trenton Thunder, a collegiate summer baseball team in the MLB Draft League. However, many teams have come and go from Class to Affiliate throughout the years. The park opened in 1993 with the Trenton Thunder coming in to name it their home stadium, which they still do today. The Thunder were the Tiger's Double-A Affiliate and stayed that way for two years before changing to a Red Sox affiliate. However, in the early 2000s, the Yankees decided to add them to their affiliate portal as their Double A-Team. The Yankees continued this until 2020 when Major League Baseballs' rebranding of the MiLB forced them to drop the Thunder as an affiliate. With the Thunder losing an affiliate, Arm and Hammer lost Minor League Baseball until because of the Covid Pandemic, the Buffalo Bisons used their park for their season as the Blue Jays were in Buffalo. Therefore, the park is home to the Trenton Thunder in the MLB draft league, who use it as their full-time home field and is close to the downtown part of Trenton, NJ, and the Cure Insurance Arena, home to the Jersey Flight Arena Football Team. The ballpark is very nice and reminds you of a small, laid-back baseball game as the ballpark only sits around 6,440 people. Like most minor league ballparks in the nation, Arm and Hammer does not have outfield seating but a big jumbotron easily visible to any fan in the venue. Like most MiLB stadiums, the food options are limited, and the things to do in the stadium are as well, but the whole experience is relaxing and enjoyable. Suppose you are in town as you can catch a game in the nice New Jersey Summer weather. I think the ballpark is an excellent addition to the city, and the team is as well.
