Royals Nick Pratto had an excellent spring training this season, making the MLB Roster just this past week. Pratto, the Kansas City Royal's third-ranked top prospect, got the call up after having a great job at the plate for the Royals in their spring training games. Pratto, a first baseman, played with the Royals Double-A team, the North West Arkansas Naturals, for the first 60 games of the season and then played the remainder of the season, 63 games, with the Royals Triple-A team, the Omaha Storm Chasers. Pratto's hitting is what the Royals are looking at, as in the Friday game against the Ranger, Pratto launched a two-run shot scoring Glagaher to put the Royals in the lead against the rangers. Pratto launched 36 home runs last season in his stints between NW Arkansas and Omaha, making him a top contender for the Royals this season. One thing fans of the Royals and the Royal's Org should watch out for is Prattos job at third base, but we could utilize him as a DH for the season. For the game, we watched where Pratto launched his two-run shot; we saw how well pratto did in the box and on the field. The Royals did a great job making the call up at the right time, and we should see great success from Pratto with the team this season.
