The netgear is a factory default switch and works find with the mikrotik switch. If someone connects on the netgear will have DHCP, DNS and of course Internet access through the Mikrotik switch. Now the problem is if you try to create a new vlan lets say vlan200, you can't access the internet. You lose connection. So =, the question is, what should I do to provide Internet access to every netgear vlan I want to create.

The Doorbell (battery) does not get a IP address over DHCP with the latest version of mikrotik routers.

Looking at packet traces of old mikrotik versions that worked and new one the problem seems to be the order of Options in the DHCP OFFER packet. The old version always sent the Message Type (Option 53) first. The new one orders them by number (1,2,3,...). In that case the doorbell ignores the DHCP offer even though the order by options is not specified in the DHCP RFC.

The DHCP server of the new mikrotik device works flawless with all my other devices including older nest cameras and the original nest doorbell.

My LTE card also has onboard GPS so im just working through forwarding this to the TCP port and getting a script working. I wish I could use UDP as I think it would be more reliable during a router reboot (I think TCP would fail in this case) however mikrotik does not seem to provide provision for this using the "remote access" tool.

Now you somehow inserted some special char, probably cut&paste error. However, your screenshot already revealed the problem: my datasource program just reports some voltage, no current or power. I cannot compute power consumption from just voltage, so this metric is some kind of useless. Maybe mikrotik changed someting.

You could do me some favor: log into your device (SSH) and enter following commands:

Long story short, i made working config using lab equipment at hand (srx 210 + mikrotik), everyting worked as expeted. But when i transferred same confix to srx 5400 then ospf started to give trouble. Ospf hello packets dont reach mikrotik.

@Rob_Nicholson wholeheartedly agree, they just work. Not necessarily intuitive and documentation could be improved but product is just solid and versatile. As my clients burn through their routers I am replacing with mikrotik.
