Background

A former LA Times reporter and copy editor, Mike also was one of the founding editors of ChicagoTribune.com. He taught journalism for 13 years at Northwestern University, Arizona State University and DePaul University. He consults with large news organizations on digital innovation and is a visiting professor at UIC and the University of Notre Dame.
