Hi, I'm Miguel and I live at ICN-UNAM in Mexico city

  • I'm and renewable energy engineer by the Polytechnique University of Chiapas (UPCH) and a PhD Candidate in physics at The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

  • I'm most interested in quantum physics/information/chaos

  • Currently in Daejeon at IBS PCS Miguel

Most recent topics

  • I've been studying several spin systems, specially collective spin systems where semiclassical analogues can be defined. Also, many body systems like the Bose-Hubbard model

  • I'm currently looking for signatures of multifractality and its connection to quantum chaos, particularly in the Quantum Kicked Top model and coupled kicked tops.

  • I'm starting a new line of research using quantum channels to describe bipartite systems by tracing out one of the subsystems.

Research interest

  • Many body quantum chaos and periodic systems

  • Localization measures and multifractality

  • Quantum channel description of composite systems

  • Quantum classical correspondence in closed and open quantum systems

Publications/Preprints

  • arxiv Participation Ratio as a Quantum Probe of Hierarchical Stickiness

  • arxiv Choi echo: dynamical irreversibility and local decoherence in quantum many-body chaos

  • Phys. Rev. E 112, 024201 Phase space geometry of collective spin systems: Scaling and fractality
