To start your journey, roll the dice and begin at the station with the number you roll.
Follow the instructions on each station’s card to get a physical sense of what the bird has to endure. When conditions are favorable, the card tells you to move ahead. When you encounter a hazard, you may be delayed or have to go back. Sometimes, you need to roll again.
When you are prompted to go ahead or back, click on that underlined section to go to the proper station.
In one of the stations you are asked to put flagging around your ankle, you can use paper and pencil to just mark tallies on a scrap piece of paper or you can have some rubber bands handy to put on your wrist.
Special thanks to Kevin Thomas Malone for his awesome photos!
