Conference Details

Registration: No registration fee. No paper submission fee. 

Location: Friday sessions, and the conference reception on Saturday night, will be held at the Inn at Virginia Tech which is both a hotel and conference center. Weekend sessions will be held in Pamplin Hall.

Getting to VT: The closest airport is Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA), about 45 minutes from VT by car. Uber and taxis are readily available and cost about $75 one-way (Early Cab Service - (540) 819-6105 or (540) 926-3300). The Smart Way Bus operates between the airport and the VT Transit Center on campus. The bus takes about one hour one-way and costs $4. 

The closest larger cities are Roanoke VA (1 hour), Charlotte NC (3.5 hours), and Washington DC (4.5 hours).  Megabus/Virginia Breeze and Ourbus run buses between Washington DC and Blacksburg. They take about 5-6 hours one-way and cost about $50-$75.
