As a PTSA member you will be a part of supporting our Midvale community. We will keep you informed of Midvale events and activities.

The PTSA Student Board & Advisors produce the Midvale Middle School annual yearbook. A hardcover, full color Midvale MS yearbook will be delivered before the end of the school year if you order by the deadline of April 15, 2024.
Share Your Photos
The Student Board is seeking photos to use in this year's yearbook. Share any photos from school activities, programs or sports, by uploading them to our yearbook website. Last day to upload photos is April 15.
Upcoming Activities
- Teacher Support Committee - Sign up to bring a treat or gift to teachers and staff on Fridays this semester. Reimbursement forms are available for those who purchase treats up to $50.
2023-24 Officers Needed - If you are interested volunteering in a PTSA leadership role, please contact us at midvale.middle.ptsa@gmail.com.
Gift Card Request
The school is seeking gift cards in $25 amounts to local food or retail stores. The gift cards are used as prizes for a drawing of all Midvale teachers who donate their prep period to cover another classroom for a teacher who is absent. Help show our appreciation to teachers who make this sacrifice by donating a gift card. Gift cards can be dropped off to Denay in the main office.
What Our Teachers Want From Parents
Recently, we asked the school to tell us what we can do to support our teachers and staff. Here are their answers:

We Need You!
We currently have open PTSA volunteer positions for this coming school year. Whether you work full time, part time or have more flexibility, we can find a role for you.
We are looking for parents who can help with the positions below.
President-Elect
What?
Work in cooperation with the President and serve on the PTSA leadership Board. Attend monthly PTSA meetings, serve in the absence of the President and assist with PTSA programs.

August to May
Student Board Advisor
What?
Work in cooperation with the other Advisor to lead and train the student board members. Assist in the design of the school yearbook. Interest or experience in writing or design is a plus.
When?
October to May
Reflections Committee
What?
Help promote and implement our Reflections Program

Reflections runs from September to November
Fundraising Committee
What?
Help organize and implement our annual fundraiser

Plan in the fall and conduct the fundraiser in January
Appreciation Committee

Spirit Nights Chairperson
What?
Help plan Spirit Nights with local restaurants who will give a portion of an evening's proceeds to our PTSA

Restaurants typically hold 1-2 Spirit Nights per school year

Sign up to be an emergency substitute teacher at Midvale Middle School this year.

The PTSA supports our teachers throughout the year and also sponsors an annual Midvale Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week in May.
Community & Legislative Involvement
In cooperation with National PTA and Utah PTA, Midvale Middle PTSA advocates for students through awareness and support in our school, community and governmental bodies.

Our Current PTSA Bylaws
The Midvale Middle PTSA approved the current version of bylaws in May of 2023.
