Celebrating 30 years of Erasmus:

Achieving, Doing and Making a Difference


Middlesex University is pleased to invite you to apply for a place on our 10th Erasmus Staff Training Week, to be held at our London campus from 26th - 30th June 2017.

Together we will mark the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus programme. The programme will celebrate the experiences of our students and staff and evaluate the impact of our work. We look forward to exchanging Erasmus success stories with our partners old and new and to co-creating visions for the future.

The programme will include presentations by external speakers and experts from Middlesex University, as well as many opportunities for participants to both present and network.

Any staff members from Middlesex University’s Erasmus+ and Erasmus+ ICM partners are welcome to apply.

Application deadline: 30/04/17.

Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by 12/05/17.

Participation fee: £75. This is to be paid by the selected participants on confirmation of a place on the training week. It includes lunch and refreshments from Monday to Thursday. There will be some additional optional charges for participation in a selection of cultural visits on Friday. Further details will be sent to successful applicants.


The programme will begin at 13.00 on Monday 26th June.

The outline of the programme is as follows:

Monday 26th June

13.00 – 14.00: Buffet lunch and registration

Afternoon: Welcome, introductions and campus tour

Tuesday 27th June

Meet Middlesex: showcasing the work of our students and staff, from robots to herbal medicine

Wednesday 28th June

Open for arranging individual meetings with specialist teams; sessions on international mobility by the MU Exchanges team

Thursday 29th June

Erasmus Anniversary Event: a journey through 30 years of Erasmus involving our staff, students and partners

Friday 30th June

London cultural visit
