Pursued by the Ringwraiths as they try to leave the Shire, Frodo and Sam fall in with Frodo's cousins, Merry and Pippin. Merry's quick thinking saves them, as he leads them to the Bucklebury Ferry crossing. The only crossing of the Brandywine River for twenty miles, the tiny ferry is just large enough to accommodate the Hobbits and they are just fast enough to move beyond the reach of the Wraith that chases Frodo to the River's edge.

As seen in The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring, this polystone environment captures the ferry and west bank of the Brandywine River. Every detail is present, including the wooden dock where the thwarted Ringwraith let loose with his piercing and anguished cry. Sculpted by Weta Workshop artist Rebecca Asquith. The underside of the environment base includes the artist's signature and edition size.
