ESU #13 Mid-Winter Conference 2020

Hindsight is always twenty-twenty. Wouldn’t it be great if our foresight was 20/20 as well? Wouldn’t it be great if we know what was ahead for each and every one of our students? Unfortunately, we don’t. What we do know is that kids are coming to us from all different places with varying learning and emotional needs. We also know that we need to meet students where they are and that we need to use the best strategies available to us to help them grow.

It is ESU 13’s mission to achieve educational excellence for all learners through strong partnerships, service and leadership. We do this by collaborating with schools, families, and communities; servicing with equity, efficiency, and integrity; communicating effectively; and leading with innovation.

For over 30 years, the ESU 13 Mid-Winter conference has been key to helping us fulfill this mission. You will find a strong line-up of sessions presented by both local experts and national consultants.

While some of the sessions are content specific, most of them are general topics. These topics are chosen to appeal to a larger variety of audience members. While we understand a need to grow more is specific content areas and in even in more specific programs, it is our hope that we can help meet those needs beyond this one day. We also acknowledge that 2.5 hours is not enough time to have a huge impact on your process. Let this learning be a springboard for what you do tomorrow and what you learn more about in the months to come.

8:00-8:45 AM Hospitality

9:00-11:30 AM and Full Day Sessions begin

11:30-12:30 Lunch provided at morning site

12:30-3:00 PM Sessions begin and Full Day Sessions continue

Registration Fee:

The registration fee is $20 for ESU #13 schools.

Schools will be billed after the Conference.

You must cancel by 8:00 am February 13 if you do not plan to attend, otherwise your district will be billed.
