Where MMPX Connectors Make Sense
The MMPX connector focuses more on versatility and user-friendliness. It is still small in size but is designed such that it can endure repeated mating cycles with less stress. MMPX connectors use a push-on interface, which is why they are quicker to connect and disconnect compared to those with threaded ones.
In actual configurations, MMPX connectors are found quite often in test equipment, modular RF systems, and assemblies where components might frequently need to be swapped or serviced.
