As a Full-Time Instructor and Department Chairperson at Schoolcraft College, Brad combines practical experience with innovative teaching strategies to create engaging learning experiences that support student achievement and long-term success.
A passionate supporter of Open Educational Resources (OER), Brad believes that high-quality learning materials should be accessible and affordable for all students. Whenever developing new online courses, Brad intentionally seeks out and incorporates OER content to reduce costs while maintaining academic rigor and relevance. This commitment reflects a broader philosophy that removing barriers to learning helps students focus on what matters most: gaining knowledge, building skills, and achieving their goals.
In addition to teaching, Brad has played a significant leadership role in online education. Brad served as the architect of the training program used to prepare new online instructors and online course developers, helping establish standards and best practices that support engaging, effective, and learner-focused online instruction. Through this work, Brad has helped colleagues develop the skills needed to create high-quality digital learning experiences that meet the needs of today's students.
