Kate Henriott-Jauw is an author, illustrator and practicing witch. She is also the descendant of Mere Henriod the first person recorded to have made absinthe in 18th Century Switzerland.
Her Husband, Ted Jauw who is more known as Baba Teddy is an author, artist and ritualist who speaks at universities, conventions, churches, basically anywhere people will listen to old fashion storytelling...
Together, they are the authors of 'Absinthe, Alewives, & Alchemy' a true novel of Kate and how her ancestors were accused of witchcraft to steal the recipe of the much storied absinthe. Today, they are recreating that recipe and are in the process of licensing its manufacture and sale as 'Mere Henriod's Extraite d'Absinthe' a 153 proof recreation of the original.
