Systems matter. But it's people who move them.
It is at a turning point in both my private life and our human society that I open this website.
With the tides of the Cold War ending just some 35 years ago, humanity expected to outgrow itself into a bright, new, and more peaceful world - a world where we can all live in prosperity, harmony, and freedom. However, that has not happened. Instead, our post-modern world has problems. Nobody can deny that. Wars are waged, people are repressed, and radicalism is on the rise. And those are just some of our pressing issues.
How will we be able to structure a working society together? Has our economic system failed us? Will we survive climate change and its consequences? Nobody knows for certain. However, what is clear to us all is that there has to be change. And I don't mean just change in our politics. Every one of us has to change a little bit. Even with our relative historic wealth, we all need to put in our effort. We can, and need to, accelerate towards a better future.
This website is an ongoing effort by me and my collaborators to share ideas, projects, and creative work. Here we upload both published and unpublished materials, from essays and academic articles to books and more. No matter where else my personal academic work appears, this site will remain the most complete and transparent archive of my thinking and aspirations.
To navigate the website, simply use the top-right button 'Title Page' or the three lines on the top left if using a phone.
All the best,
