I am currently a Research Scientist at the Center for Brain Imaging at New York University, managing the fMRI and other neuroimaging equipment, training users, and helping researchers to set up their experiments and successfully collect quality data.
Prior to starting at NYU, I worked as a postdoctoral associate with Rachel Denison at Boston University, testing questions of temporal attention and consciousness. I completed my PhD with Tatiana Emmanouil at the Graduate Center, CUNY, investigating the temporal dynamics of ensemble perception. I served as a graduate fellow with the Futures Initiative at the Graduate Center, a group dedicated to fostering equity and innovation in the academy.Â
I've taught introductory neuroscience at the City College of New York, research methods in psychology at Baruch College, and have served as a writing fellow at the CUNY School of Professional Studies. Prior to starting at CUNY, I worked with Daniel Javitt and Elisa Dias at the Nathan Kline Institute on a variety of projects investigating visual perception in schizophrenia. I am deeply committed to equity and transparency in science, and regularly volunteer with public science initiatives.
