I am an Economist in the Office of Research at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. I received my PhD from the University of Michigan, where I was also a pre-doctoral trainee in the Population Studies Center at the Institute for Social Research with funding through the National Institute on Aging. My research focuses on labor economics—with a particular focus on college finance—and economic demography.
Before Michigan, I received my B.A. from Georgetown University Summa cum Laude and a Masters in Public Policy from the Harris School at the University of Chicago. I also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago as an Associate Economist, primarily researching consumer debt.
