Welcome to my personal homepage

I am an associate professor at the department of Economics, Econometrics and Finance at the University of Groningen.

My research interest focuses on microeconometrics. In particular, I work on the estimation of models allowing for spatial or network effects using both frequentist and Bayesian estimation approaches.

In my work, I address linear and nonlinear models both for cross-sectional as well as panel data.

My applications address research questions in international trade and foreign direct investment, regional and urban economics, industrial and firm economics, and topics at the boundary between economics and finance.
