Moorcroft Interfaith Community
The Moorcroft community food pantry was established in June 2018 by a coalition of concerned citizens. The food pantry serves Moorcroft and all other communities in Northeast Wyoming. The Moorcroft food pantry assistance program provides help to more than 300 families with short and long term food insecurities. Over one million pounds of food has successfully been distributed since we opened our doors.
Proud members of the Wyoming Food Bank
The food pantry is open:

Food pantries help a wide range of people from young to old. Some people only seek assistance for short periods of time, while others have more long term needs. It is not uncommon for people to experience unforeseen events like auto repair bills or medical bills that force them to make a difficult choice that often lead to fewer groceries to feed themselves and their families.
Food pantries don't judge people in need and require little information from recipients.
Volunteers are an essential part of the success of MIC Pantry. Please feel free to contact us on our Facebook page.
Receiving: Unloading trucks 1st Tuesday 11am and 2nd Wednesday 9am.
Donations
Donations of time, money and food are all important to what we do to help people in our local communities.
If you wish to donate time see the section above for volunteering some of your time to help set up or even hand out donations.
If you wish to donate money to help purchase food you may do so VIA the following PayPal link.
If you would like to donate to help MIC in building a dedicated facility to better serve our local communities click here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-moorcrofts-volunteer-food-pantry
MIC is loosing our current facility used to receive and stage food donations. The city of Moorcroft has gifted the food pantry a building site and we are now seeking funding to build the facility that will not only help feed families in Crook but, Western and Eastern Campbell Counties also. Visit our "Go Fund Me" page. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as we can not do this without your support. Link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/donate-to-moorcrofts-volunteer-food-pantry
Currently volunteers as well as families receiving donations are exposed to all sorts of weather conditions because the current staging area where the drive though is located is outside. The new location not only gives the volunteers a more controlled environment to work in it would also offers a secure location where donations can be received, inventoried, sorted and staged. This in turn makes for and easy drive through donation process.
