I am an assistant professor at the College of Finance and Statistics, Hunan University. My research fields are health economics and applied economics. Currently, I am investigating topics in the economics of health care for aging and/or dying people as well as the corresponding industry. 

I obtained my Ph.D. degree at the University of Arizona, where I enjoyed a five-year life with happiness, cacti, and lizards.
