Muhammad Hassan have completed PhD in cybersecurity under the supervision of Prof. Mauro Conti from the Brain, Mind and Computer Science (BMCS) department at the University of Padua, Italy in 2019. Here, he was also a member of the Security and PRIvacy Through Zeal (SPRITZ) research group. At a high level, his research focuses on security, privacy and access control issues in Future Internet Architectures (FIA), specifically, Information-Centric Networking (NDN/CCN) and related studies, such as secure integration of existing technologies (e.g., future mobile networks, multimedia streaming) in FIA. The research goal is to review the existing technologies and identify the current challenges in securing the FIA. Besides, I have completed Bachelors in Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan and Masters in Computer Network Engineering from HALMSTAD university, Sweden. He has also successfully performed Post Doctorate and leadership research roles at UNIPD, KTH Sweden and ITU Pakistan. Currently he is working as an International Associate Researcher at the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST).
