Dr Mahmudul Hasan is a Lecturer (equivalent to Assistant Professor, USA) in Information Systems within the Department of Decision Analytics and Risk. The foundations for his research lie in the fields of Information Systems and Crisis Informatics. Broadly, his research interests focus on how digital technologies may facilitate or hinder societal or business phenomena. He is particularly interested in investigating the use of digital technologies in crisis situations (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics).
