Hi, I'm Matthew, Ganquan Shi, a third-year PhD student in Linguistics at University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Prof. Alexander Williams and Prof. Aron Hirsch. I completed my BA in Linguistics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

My research interests encompass a variety of areas, including analytical parts of natural language meaning and structure, and how we come to understand/use language the way it is.
