The "Youth and Civil Initiatives in the Rose Valley" NGO was established in 2007 by enthusiastic youth workers in partnership with the Municipality of Karlovo and the "Intellect" Teaching Centre.  

The main aim of the organisation is to offer information and opportunities for intercultural and international exchange of mobilities and best practices, programmes for personal and professional development of the young people from the Rose Valley Region. 

Throughout the years the NGO has implemented many local, national and international projects on important topics sucgh as human rights, gender equality, social inclusion of disadvantaged people, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, active citizenship and volunteering, healthy lifestyle, sport and environmental awareness, fighting aggression and hate speech and fostering positive digital citizenship of young people.
