About
The Midlands Fluid Mechanics Meeting (MFMM) aims to bring together academics from across the midlands who are interested in, and are working on, fluid mechanics problems. This year's meeting will take place on Tuesday 5th September 2023 and will be hosted by Aston University.
Highlights
There is no registration fee for this meeting with lunch and tea/coffee throughout the day being provided.
Talks from PhD students and PDRAs are strongly encouraged and there will be an option to run parallel sessions if required.
There will be an option to attend a dinner in the evening. However, this would have to be self-funded. If you are interested in attending the dinner please indicate this on the registration form.
Location
The meeting will take place here:
Aston University, Main Building, Birmingham B4 7ET
The meeting room(s) will be clearly sign-posted in the foyer of the Main Building.
Getting to the campus
There is very limited parking on campus (even in early September!). As such, we do not advise participants to drive. Instead, it would be wise to arrive via train to Birmingham New Street Station and follow this route to campus. If you absolutely do need to drive then please get in touch with Paul using the information below.
