Please be advised that Metrosoft, Inc. (MSI) will release its latest upgrade, the Enterprise Edition 9.1r1 for MSI Payroll System on February 1, 2023. This version incorporates the following enhancements and corrections:
I. Inclusion of the revised withholding tax table effective January 1, 2023, and onwards in compliance with the Revenue Regulations No. 8-2018
Pursuant to Section 244 of the National Internal Revenue Code, as amended, and Section 84 of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 10963 otherwise known as the "Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN)" Law, these regulations are hereby promulgated to implement the amended provisions on Title II - Tax on Income of the NIRC. II. A new schedule of Social Security (SS) Contributions Table effective January 2023. This enhancement has been made in compliance to:
Pursuant to Republic Act No. 11199, otherwise known as the Social Security Act of 2018, which includes a provision that increases the contribution rate to 14%, and the minimum Monthly Salary Credit (MSC) to P 4,000, and the maximum MSC to P30,000 effective year 2023, the new schedule of Social Security (SS) contributions of employers (ER), employees (EE) is hereby issued, and shall be effective for the applicable month of January 2023 as per Social Security Commission (SSC) Resolution No. 751-s.2022 dated 25 November 2022.
III. A new PHIC Table for January 2023 released by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation.

As prescribed in Section 10 of Republic Act No. 1123 or the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act, the “Premium Contribution Schedule in the national Health Insurance Program (Revision 1)”, all Direct Contributors are hereby advised that the premium rate for CY 2023 is 4.5%, with an income floor of P10,000.00 and income ceiling of P90,000.00 effective January 2023. IV. An enhancement has been made in the Pag-IBIG Contribution, an option has been added wherein the computation of below the monthly compensation of PhP5, 000.00 will be fixed PhP100.00 as employee contribution.
