The goal of this conference is to introduce young researchers to new directions in applied algebraic geometry, with special emphasis on novel techniques ranging from metric geometry and topology to data analysis. At the same time, the meeting will give the opportunity to early career mathematicians to present their results and to foster collaborations. (The conference will be preceded by a week of informal gathering and discussions on the conference themes.)
