Social virtual reality platforms are transforming how teenagers interact online. Platforms such as VRChat, Horizon Worlds, and Rec Room allow users to connect through avatars in immersive three-dimensional environments.

While these technologies create exciting opportunities for creativity, social interaction, and learning, they also introduce new privacy and safety challenges for young users.

MetaSafeTeens aims to raise awareness about these risks and provide practical guidance to help teenagers and their families navigate immersive digital environments safely.
