Privacy Policy

Metal Detector (also shown as "Metal Detector Pro", package com.adrjdev.metaldetector) is developed by AdrjDev ("we", "our", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles, what our advertising partner collects, and the choices available to you.
The app has no user accounts, no login, and no server operated by us. We do not receive, store, or have access to your
personal information. The only party that cois Google, as described below.
How the app works
Metal Detector reads your device's magnetic o detect ferromagnetic objects such as iron,steel and nickel. Sensor readings are processed entirely on your device, in real time. They are never transmitted to
us or to anyone else.
Information stored on your device
The following is saved locally on your phone
- Your app settings: vibration, sound alertsve mode, dark theme, refresh rate, smoothingfilter and alert threshold.
- Your calibration baseline, which describesr offset. This value is deliberately excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer, because it is only valid for the phone that measured it.
- Detection history and recorded samples, whhile the app is running and are lost when the app closes.
- CSV files you create with the Export funct app's private storage area and are onlyshared if you choose to send them somewhere yourself, using your device's share menu.
All locally stored data is removed when you uninstall the app. You can clear detection history at any time from
Settings, and clear your calibration baselin
Advertising
This app is free and is funded by advertisintitial (full screen) and app openadvertisements supplied by Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
To serve and measure advertising, Google may collect and process information including:
- Your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID)
- Your IP address, and an approximate locati
- Device and app information such as device model, operating system version, language, and app version
- Information about the advertisements shown with them, for measurement and fraudprevention
Google acts as an independent party for this processing, not on our behalf, and handles that information under its own

Depending on your region and your choices, ad (selected using information about yourinterests) or non-personalised (selected using only general, non-identifying context). Non-personalised advertising still requires limited data, such as coarse ormation, for frequency capping, aggregatedreporting and fraud prevention.
Analytics
The app includes Google Analytics for Firebase, which collects aggregated, non-identifying usage and stability
information such as app opens, session lengtstem version, country, and crash data. We use this only to understand overall usage and to fix faults. It is not used to identify you.
Your privacy choices
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before serving
personalised advertising, using Google's certform. No advertising is requested until youhave made a choice.
You may change or withdraw that consent at any time: open the app, go to Settings → Privacy → Privacy options, and
update your selection.
If you are in a US state with applicable prialifornia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah andVirginia, among others), you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for
targeted advertising. To do so, open the app → Privacy options, then choose "Don't sellor share my data".
Wherever you are, you can also:
- Reset your Advertising ID, or turn off ad personalisation entirely, in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads (the
exact path varies by manufacturer and Andr
- Uninstall the app, which deletes all data stored on your device by it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over information held about you, including the rights to
access, correct, delete, or restrict its use or lodge a complaint with a supervisoryauthority. Because we do not collect or hold personal information ourselves, requests about advertising or analytics
data should be directed to Google using the to contact us and we will help where we can.
Permissions the app uses
- Internet and network state — required to lnsent form.
- Vibration — used for haptic feedback when a reading crosses your alert threshold.
- Body sensors are not used. The magnetometepermission and no permission prompt is shownfor it.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK adds further technical permissions of its own, including advertising ID access, attribution,
background task scheduling and wake lock. Thvertising delivery and measurement.
Children
Metal Detector is a general audience app andunder 13. We do not knowingly collectpersonal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this app, please contact
us and we will address it.
Data security
Because the app stores information only on y no servers, your data is protected by yourdevice's own security, including Android's app sandbox. Data sent to Google for advertising and analytics is
transmitted over encrypted connections.
Limitations of the app
Metal Detector uses your phone's magnetometegnetic materials such as iron, steel andnickel. It cannot detect non-ferrous metals including aluminium, copper, brass, gold or silver, and it cannot
distinguish an object's size from its distanand is not suitable for safety, security orsurvey use.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes or as legal requirements evolve. The revised Effective Date at the top of
this page indicates when the current versions will be reflected here before they takeeffect where practical.
