I created a meta pixel and it is active, but the meta pixel helper extension shows no pixel on my page.

The pixel was created with shopify partner (no code was added manually)

I removed ad blockers and the pixel is configured in my shopify account under facebook app channel

How can I fix that please ?

If you have verified the activation of your meta pixel in your Shopify account but the Meta Pixel Helper extension is unable to detect the pixel on your page, there are several actions you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

-> Clear the cache of your web browser

In certain cases, the presence of a browser cache can hinder the pixel detection process. Clearing your browser cache can assist in refreshing the page and enabling the extension to identify the pixel. Consider clearing the cache and reloading the page as a troubleshooting step.

-> Deactivate any other browser extensions you may have enabled

Deactivate any additional browser extensions or add-ons that could potentially disrupt the Meta Pixel Helper. At times, conflicting extensions can hinder the accurate detection of the pixel. Temporarily disable other extensions and verify if the pixel is successfully detected.

-> Check for conflicting code or scripts

Examine the source code of your webpage and search for any conflicting code or scripts that could impede pixel detection. Pay attention to JavaScript errors or conflicting tags that may hinder the pixel's proper functionality.

-> Ensure that the pixel is positioned correctly

Ensure that you have placed the pixel code in the correct location on your Shopify store. Double-check the installation instructions provided by Facebook to make sure you have followed all the steps correctly.

-> Utilize the Facebook Pixel Helper to examine the functionality of the pixel

Install the official Facebook Pixel Helper extension for your browser. Check if it detects the pixel on your page. The Facebook Pixel Helper is specifically designed to detect and diagnose issues with Facebook pixels.

does anyone understand how the shopify partner integration for the meta pixel functions? How does it install the pixel on your website? I'm not talking about the server side (conversion api) but the web/browser events.

I installed the pixel via partner integration on my website but it only tracks server signals and the pixel helper isn't recognizing a pixel on my website. Is my 'facebook & instagram' app bugged and it is actually supposed to install code somewhere on my website.

Contacted shopify support about this -> they told me to contact meta about it because it's a third party app -> meta support told me to contact shopify about this because the app is integrated on shopify.

The Shopify partner integration for the meta pixel works by allowing you to install the Facebook pixel on your Shopify store. When you install the Facebook & Instagram app on your Shopify store, it will automatically install the Facebook pixel on your website. The pixel will track web/browser events, such as page views, add to carts, and purchases.

It's possible that there may be a technical issue with the integration or with your Facebook & Instagram apps. However, if you've already contacted both Shopify and Meta support and they were unable to help, you may want to try troubleshooting the installation yourself.

First, you can check if the Facebook pixel is installed on your website by using the Facebook Pixel Helper extension for Google Chrome. If the Pixel Helper isn't recognizing the pixel on your website, it's likely that there's an issue with the installation.

If the Facebook pixel is not installed on your website, you can try reinstalling the Facebook & Instagram app on your Shopify store. Make sure that you follow all of the installation instructions carefully and that you are logged into the correct Facebook account when you install the app.

If you're still having trouble, you may want to consider using Google Tag Manager (GTM) to install the Facebook pixel on your website. GTM can help you avoid deduplication errors and give you more control over how the pixel is installed and configured.

Overall, if you're experiencing issues with the Shopify partner integration for the meta pixel, it's important to troubleshoot the installation and reach out to Shopify or Meta support for assistance.

I dont even know where to start. When I started my online store in 2022 I created many pixels because I didn't know how to set everything up. To this day, I have like 15 pixels in my meta business account but used only 1 in the past.

After 4 months I started advertising again through a prepaid ad account of meta representative connected to my meta business account. Anyway, after 5 days there were no sales, I checked and my pixel was not working. Using the meta pixel helper, it said no pixel installed on the website.

I deleted the facebook and instagram channel, installed it again, reconnected the pixel, reconnected it in events manager and nothing. When I go to Test Events in events manager, it doesnt show any activity. I checked the coding in theme.liquid and there is no pixel code installed...

Then I said lets try with a 3rd party app. It worked partially...when I go to Test Events, it shows view page and product view but nothing for initiate checkout and purchase. Instead it shows SubscribedButtonClick. Very very fucked up thing.

I am totally desperate. The meta pixel is crucial for facebooks ads to be optimized and find the right audience and clients. I am willing to pay for a professional to check everything related to the pixel and facebooks sales channel and make it right...to fix it once and for all and to show all events: page view, view content, initiate checkout, add to cart, purchase etc.

What will you find if you keep scrolling? An easy-to-understand explanation of Facebook Pixel Helper, a simple guide to use it, some additional information, and most importantly, the errors being reported as well as how to fix them.

Facebook Pixel Helper or sometimes known as Meta Pixel Helper is a Google Chrome extension. It works like an information hub for your Facebook Pixel which shows the events fired, data collected, and flaws.

The first reason for this is because of a problem with the pixel code. So, make sure that there are not any mistakes while copying and pasting the code as you can compare the code on your site with the one provided in Facebook.

The second cause comes from a dynamic event. If you set up a dynamic event like clicking on a button then the pixel sometimes will fire on it, thus creating the error. It is pretty easy to solve this. Just click on the button attached with the pixel code 152ee80cbc
