Warp Softwares ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Android application "Messages" (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our SMS messaging application. The App is designed to be a fast, powerful tool for sending, receiving, and managing SMS messages on your Android device.
This policy applies only to our App and does not cover any third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked or accessible through the App. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information Processed Locally on Your Device:
SMS Messages: Your text messages are stored locally on your device and accessed by the App to provide messaging functionality. We do not transmit or store your SMS content on our servers.
Contacts: The App accesses your contacts locally to display contact names and details. This data remains on your device and is not sent to our servers.
Phone Number: Your phone number is used solely to enable SMS sending and receiving through your carrier. We do not save or share your phone number.
Information Collected by Third-Party Services:
While we do not collect personal data on our own servers, third-party SDKs integrated into the App may collect the following types of information for analytics, advertising, and performance monitoring:
Device identifiers (such as Android ID, Advertising ID)
IP address and general location data (country/region)

Notification Access (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Sends notifications for incoming SMS, restore message processes, and app updates to enhance your experience.
Contacts Access (READ_CONTACTS): Displays contact details locally on your device. We do not store or transmit contact data to third parties.
Phone Call (CALL_PHONE, READ_PHONE_STATE): Allows you to make calls from available carriers/accounts directly from the App.
Wake Lock (WAKE_LOCK): Turns your device screen on to show received messages.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE): Runs background processes like message restoration with a visible notification to prevent the system from killing the process.
Read SMS (READ_SMS): Reads SMS messages stored on your device to display them in the App.
Send SMS (SEND_SMS): Sends SMS messages through your carrier.
Receive SMS (RECEIVE_SMS): Receives incoming SMS messages and notifications.
Write SMS (WRITE_SMS): Saves sent messages to your device's SMS database.
Foreground Service Data Sync (FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC): Performs data synchronization tasks like syncing messages.
Receive WAP Push (RECEIVE_WAP_PUSH): Receives WAP Push and service messages.
Receive Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Ensures the App functions properly after your device restarts.
Access Network State (ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Checks network connectivity status (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
Schedule Exact Alarm (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Schedules messages to be sent at specific times.
Your SMS messages, contacts, and personal data are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain servers to store your message content or personal information.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect the App from unauthorized access. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
We use the following third-party libraries and SDKs:
Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data and feature engagement to improve App performance. Does not personally identify you.
Firebase Crashlytics: Tracks crash reports to help us fix stability issues.
Firebase Performance Monitoring: Measures app startup time, HTTP latency, and screen rendering performance.
Firebase Cloud Messaging: Sends notifications and messages from the cloud to devices.
Firebase Firestore: A cloud-based database that may sync non-personal App data between devices.
Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob): Displays advertisements including banners, interstitials, and native ads. Collects data for personalized advertising.
Facebook Ads Mediation: Integrates Facebook ads through Google's mediation platform.
User Messaging Platform (UMP): Displays consent forms for GDPR and CCPA compliance.
Glide: Efficiently loads and displays images/media within the App.
Room Database: Stores local App data like settings and preferences on your device only.
Gson: Handles JSON data conversion for App functionality.
SDP/SSP: Manages responsive UI elements and text sizes across different devices.
Koin: Manages dependency injection for App components.
Dexter: Simplifies runtime permission handling.
Shimmer: Provides loading animations for better user experience.
Lottie: Displays animated logos and messages.
Rounded ImageView: Creates aesthetically pleasing image views with rounded corners.
Advertising: We display ads through Google AdMob, AdX, and Facebook Audience Network. These ad networks may collect your Advertising ID, device information, and usage data to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.
Analytics: Firebase Analytics collects anonymized data about how you use the App, such as which features you interact with most. This helps us improve the App.
Tracking: Third-party ad networks may use tracking technologies to measure ad effectiveness. We do not control these technologies.
Our App does not use cookies directly. However, third-party services like Google Ads and Firebase may use similar tracking technologies. You can manage your advertising preferences through your Google account settings or device settings.
Data Processing Activities:
SMS Content: Processed entirely on your device. We cannot access, read, or store your messages.
Contact Information: Accessed locally to display names and numbers. Not transmitted to our servers.
Device Data: Collected by third-party SDKs for analytics, ads, and performance monitoring.
Advertising Data: Your Advertising ID is used by ad networks to show relevant ads.

Data on Your Device: Your SMS messages and contacts remain on your device until you delete them using your device's settings or the App's features.
Third-Party Data: Third-party services like Firebase and Google Ads retain data according to their own privacy policies. We do not control their retention periods.
Your Rights: You can request deletion of any data we may have by contacting us. However, since we do not store your personal data on our servers, most data can only be deleted by uninstalling the App or clearing App data through your device settings.
The App offers subscription-based and one-time purchase options:
Subscriptions: We offer weekly, monthly, and yearly plans to unlock premium features. Prices vary by country and are displayed in the App or Google Play Store. Payments are charged to your Google Pay account upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions auto-renew unless disabled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the App's Account Settings or Google Play Store. Unused free trial periods are forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
In-App Purchases: Options like "Remove Ads" or "Premium Lifetime" are available as one-time purchases. Prices vary by country and are shown in the App or Google Play Store.
All payments are processed by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment card details.

Uninstalling the App
We operate from Gujarat, India. Third-party services we use (Google, Facebook) may transfer and process your data in countries outside your own, including the United States. We do not engage in malware distribution, network misuse, or any activities that harm users or networks. Our App is designed solely for SMS messaging. We comply with Google Play Developer Program Policies regarding malware and network abuse.
Our App may contain links to third-party websites or apps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before using them.
Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
