Project Descripton(English): Our aim is to make farmers life easier with the help of easy interaction with expert about various problems the farmer may face. Also give them important updates about agriculture and innovation so that they can take advantage of the latest events. We also have a feature for market price of various products that they can look on so that they know exactly what is the fare value of their goods. Every app segment should have voice help so that they can learn the features of the app without much reading. Not only that since everything will be stored on the server. We can take advantage of this to make survey on farmers.
Project Descripton(Bangla): আমাদের লক্ষ হল কৃষকদেরকে সহজে বিশেষজ্ঞদের সাথে যোগাযোগ এর একটি ভিত্তি তৈরি করা যাতে তারা সহজেই তাদের সমস্যা গুলো তুলে ধরতে পারে। তাছাড়া ও অনলাইনের মাধমে তাদেরকে বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য ও নতুন আবিস্কার সম্পরকে জানানো। বাজারে বর্তমান কৃষি পণ্যের মূল্য ও তারা জানতে পারবে। যাতে তারা ন্যায্য মূল্য পায়। অ্যাপের প্রতিটা অংশে অডিও হেল্প থাকবে যাতে বেশি কিছু না পড়েই তারা শিখতে পারে। শুধু তাই নয়। যেহেতু সারভারে ডাটা থাকবে আমারা এটিকে কাজে লাগিয়ে শুমারির ভিত্তি হিসেবে ব্যবহার করতে পারি।
Future Goal: Add social features in the app for easy communication. Add weather alert based on location. Emergency and problem submission based on location. Offline database sync so that we use less bandwidth. Use a better compression algorithm for uploading data.

What is agricultural Productivity?
Problem Description
Bangladesh has already been self sufficient in rice production. But this is not enough. To keep pace with population growth, all agricultural production, including rice has to be doubled. At the same time, to achieve sustainable development goals, income of small-scale food producers, specially women, indigenous peoples, family farmers, pastoralists, and fishers have to be doubled. But there exists some problem to realize these goals. To meet the housing and other demand of increasing population, the quantity of arable land is decreasing day by day. We have to save these lands. It has to make sure that arable land would only be used in cultivation. Minimum and fair wage of all labour involved in agriculture should be confirmed regardless their gender. All the agricultural inputs including seeds, fertilizer, irrigation should be made available. Farmers should get bank loan and other financial services. They should be taught scientific method of cultivation. Invention of high yielding seeds has to be accelerated. And concentration should be given to invent more flood and drought resistant variety of different crops. Marketing of cultivated crops has to be confirmed. The land rights of indigenous people have to be settled. Women should be more involved in agriculture. To increase fish production, all the water bodies, including ponds, haors should bring under fish cultivation. And for this, developed variety of fishes, scientific cultivation method, fair price, training and marketing should be ensured. And by confirming all these, we can reach the target to double the agricultural production by 2030.

The word hackathon is combined from the words hack and marathon, where hack is used in the sense exploratory and investigate programming (not as a reference to committing a cybercrime). It has been described as a problem-focused computer programming event, as well as a contest to pitch, program, and present instances of prototype digital innovation (e.g. a prototype mobile application). They bring together programmers and others (interface designers, graphic designers and others) to collaborate intensively over a short period of time on software projects.
Bangladesh Government constantly on the lookout for game-changing ideas and technologies – and National Hackathons is the source of exactly those kinds of new ideas.
The National Hackathon 2016 will feature problems to achieve selected 10 Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) and ask the participants to innovate new solutions to solve those problems. Any Bangladeshi national, specially university students and professional developers, can join the event by forming teams of 5 participants each. A team with developers, designers and ideators can be said to have an ideal combination. Team leads will be responsible for all team communications.
A pool of 40 top notch tech mentors will be there to guide the teams. Country’s best tech entrepreneurs, experts, developers are designers will be in the role of mentors to help out the participants to achieve their targets. Mentors will start working with teams via email even before the main event. Sample data sets ready to be used in apps or systems to be used by the participants will be provided.
The main event will be arranged with 1000+ participants and 250 teams around the country. Teams will be judged by their coding skills, designing skills, innovative ideation and overall execution capabilities.
Participants will get the chance to show their skills in this national level competition. It is a lifetime opportunity to compete with best developers and to get mentorship from the country’s top mentors. Teams can network with tech companies and policy makers from this very event. Winning the NationalHackathon will give participants nationwide visibility and amazing prizes. Selected solutions will get the opportunity to be implemented in real with the help of ICT Division.
