I frequently use Cmd+click in Chrome to open a link in a new window. But sometimes my finger slips and I accidentally press the Option key instead of Cmd, which is the shortcut for downloading the link target.

I am looking for a tool to download YouTube videos in 1080p. I tried youtube-dl but it didn't work. So I wondering about ByClick downloader is safe to use? Won't stole my datas, infect my pc with virures, ect.

I used to be able to hold down "option" while clicking on a link with the mouse (e.g. a link to an image or a file) and it would download. Now I have to right-click and select "save as," which, if I have a bunch of links to download, takes so much more time. Can we get the far simpler, easier, and faster "option+click to download" back again please? It's not like that combination of keys was replaced by anything, now it just does nothing.

hello oldified, please try this: enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named browser.altClickSave. double-click it and change its value to true.

Hmmm....I've tried it, but I'm wondering, does that mean I have to press "alt" then click? I don't think a mac has an "alt" button, is there something else I should try?EDIT: I think I had to close the about:config page before the change happened, it looks like it's working, I've downloaded some wallpapers with one (key+)click, hooray!

{ To "oldified" and "philipp" a clarification ( answer ) and brief history of keys on Mac. on the 2nd topic }and yes the "alt" key on the Mac is called "option" with an "alt" in the upper left corner.and there is also a command key ( otherwise known as the "Apple" key prior to the Apple re-branding a couple years ago ), that does most of the "control" shortcuts known to Windows users ( copy, paste...).and the control key is used for right clicking prior to Steve Jobs realizing that there was a use for the right-click context menu ( Hint! if you dig out a Mac OS 7 system and one-button mouse there is Actually a right-click menu! )

YouTube By Click (also known as YT ByClick) is a famous YouTube video downloader that can magically download YouTube videos to MP3 or MP4 in one click, after installing this toolbar on your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome). Despite of its simplicity and usability, there will be times you want an alternative to YouTube By Click for Mac version so as to free download YouTube videos on Mac OS X by clicks.

Step 1: Free download this free YouTube downloader on Mac, and then launch it. Copy and paste the URL of the video page and click "analyze" to load the YouTube video details. Or click "paste & analyze" button to automatically detect the YouTube video opened in browse.

I am pretty new to Power Automate Desktop. Basically, I try to download a file by using the action "Click download link on web page" and save it in a pre-defined destination. But after the link is clicked and before the file is downloaded, a pop-up appears, which I have to confirm by clicking a button containing "ok". After that the download continues and the file is automatically saved at my pre-defined destination.

My problem is that I also want to automate the click on the button of the pop up, otherwise I have to manually press the "ok" button every time I run the process. However, as it appears in the middle of the action of downloading and storing the data it is not possible to simply perform the action "Press button on web page". Is there any way to perform a additional button click during the action "Click download link on web page". Is there any solution for that?

So I got to implement your solutions. I use Press Button on Webpage now and can also click the Pop-Up with that. Thanks for that! But now I run into troubles automizing the "Save As". When I download a file this pop up in the upper right corner opens:

I tried to add the "Save As" Button as a UI Element and then click it once it opens. But that does not work. The Flow does not recognize the Button and gives the message "Click failed (failed to get UI element)". Probably the problem is that every "Save As" Button gets a unique ID and therefore when I try to download another document it does not recognize the new Button?

Then inside that loop use a IF condition like this of type is equal to TABLE then use this click activity that has the selector to click on that text Open (as seen in above image)

Or click on normally that download button

When you click Download Pictures in a message that you're previewing in the Reading Pane, the message is saved automatically and displays the pictures again the next time that you open the message. But if you click Download Pictures in an open message and want the pictures to display the next time that you open the message, you must save the message.

In just a few clicks, the users can copy and paste the URL of the video to be downloaded, choose the destination folder, select the video quality, the type of format and its extension, press the button to start the process, and in a few seconds, the user will have the video saved on its PC.

Now when you Alt-click on a valid download link it will open the Save As explorer screen. All you need to do is set the correct location and press Enter. Once you set the download location, if you are downloading a lot of files into the same location, all you need to do is press enter. This will greatly speed up your download process.

When I go to begin my weekly readings and lectures, it means individually clicking on each file that is required for the week. There are often at least a half dozen files. It would be great to have a "one click, download all" feature. I have seen similar feedback posted from the teacher side in relation to bulk download of student submissions, but I have not found any similar suggestions for the student side, module download area. Both would be great improvements to the system.

Go to the folder in Google Drive that contains the files you want to download. Hold CTRL and click on the files you want to download. Once you have selected the files you want, right click on the last file you selected and select download.

All I want is to be able to download a week's worth of files with one click. Generally there will be a few .mp3 files, a .pptx file, a .rtf file, and a .pdf file. Currently that would involve a click to download each file individually. I would like to be able to download all of the files with one click, perhaps even directly from the "Course materials" menu. For example "Week 1" would have a download arrow next to it, and if clicked, would download all files for that week into a .zip file or a folder.
