Wakulla Counties Only and Best Christmas Tree Farm

The Merry Little Christmas Tree Farm opens its fields again this year after Thanksgiving. Owners Gary and Margaret Hegg invite you to come out to their farm and pick out your Christmas tree. “We even let folks reserve a tree in advance.”  says Margaret Hegg.  The farm has a reservation system that allows you to pick your tree early and cut it when you’re ready to decorate.

The prices for 2024 will be at $8.00 per foot. The trees range from 4 to 12 feet tall.  The owners provide you with a bow saw and a measuring stick. They will shake out the old pine straw after cutting. They are open for business 4-6 Mon. to Fri. and 9 - 6 on Sat, and Sun.

Tree Shaking and Wraping Table

Bring your walking shoes, We have 2 1/2 acres of trees. There are short and fat trees as well as tall and slender ones. We have them of all sizes. Your guarenteed to find the tree that is just right for you. Bring the family, its always fun trying to pick out the perfect tree and everyone has a different opinion.

After you choose and cut your tree, bring it back to the shaking table and we will shake out the old pine straw making it nice and clean for you to bring home. Then we will measure your tree to the nearest 1/2 foot. This way you will only be charged for what you get. All trees are priced at $8.00 per foot. This price includes a 7.5% State of Florida Sales Tax.  So, a tree that measures 6 feet will be $48.00, one that measures 8 feet will cost $64.00. As you can see, our prices are very competitive. For us its Holiday Fun. We enjoy seeing folks year after year.

Tree Farm Safety - When you arrive here at the farm park your car or truck so other people can get around it. Come up to the Welcome sign and we will get you started. We will issue a bow saw and a measuring pole so you know how tall the trees are. You may bring your own saw if you wish but No Power saws, please. We encourage you to bring your own work gloves to protect your hands while cutting down your tree. While cutting down your tree remember other families are out there to have fun too!
