Gardening is and has always been an inspiration to me; it is a place to rest and unwind in the serenity of nature, which may be documented through photographs or paintings to bring nature into the home. Within a bustling city, a garden emerged.

Over time, what started out as a wild, untamed, unmanaged, and chaotic urban garden has transformed into a haven for relaxation and well-being. It nurtures plants from seeds in pots and documents the transformation from the cause of leftover rubble to what can be described as a happy place, with photographic images turned into wall art inspired by William Morris floral prints that allows nature to be brought inside. I worked on anything from painting to taking pictures to keep moving forward in the face of uncertainty so they may be treasured or remembered throughout the year. Happiness and self-worth can be brought into one's life by plants and flowers.
