At Meo, your creativity and privacy are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how Meo handles your information and protects your data.
Meo is designed as an offline-first application.
Image Generation: All AI image generation is performed entirely on your device using Core ML. Your text prompts, voice prompts, input images, and generated outputs are processed locally using your device’s CPU, GPU, or Neural Engine.
No Cloud Uploads: We do not upload your prompts, images, or any generation data to any server. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.
We collect minimal data, and only what is necessary for basic functionality:
Local App Data: Information such as “Free Generation” count, “Pro” status, and app settings (e.g., theme mode, selected model, preferences) is stored securely on your device using Keychain and UserDefaults.
Crash Reports (Optional): If your device is set to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us anonymous crash logs to help us improve stability. These logs do not contain personal information.
Meo requests certain device permissions to enable specific features:
Purpose: Saving generated images to your Photos app and selecting photos for image-to-image generation.
Privacy: We only access the photos you explicitly select or the images the app saves. We never scan or read your entire library.
Purpose: Enabling the voice-to-text feature so you can dictate prompts.
Privacy: Audio is processed on-device using Apple’s speech recognition system.
We do not store, upload, or retain your audio or transcriptions.
Meo offers a Lifetime Pro purchase handled securely through the Apple App Store.
Payment Data: We do not process or store any payment information. All transactions occur through Apple.
Receipt Verification: We check your App Store receipt locally to confirm your Pro status.
Meo allows users to download AI models (such as Stable Diffusion checkpoints) from trusted third-party sources.
Model Downloads: When you choose to download a model, an internet connection is required.
No personal data is transmitted during this process only the model file is retrieved.
Meo is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Updates will be available within the app or on our App Store page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
