Korean tenor Jonghyun Park returns to the Met for his second year in the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program, where he will sing the First Prisoner and cover Jaquino in Fidelio and sing the Sergeant in Il Barbiere di Siviglia.

Later in the 2024–25 season, he will sing the roles of the Shepherd and the Sailor in a concert production of Tristan und Isolde with The Philadelphia Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

He made his Met debut last season as the First Guard in the beloved holiday presentation of The Magic Flute then covered the role of Tybalt in Roméo et Juliette.

Recent operatic engagements include Fenton in Falstaff at Opera San José, covering Fenton at Palm Beach Opera, covering Tamino in Die Zauberflöte as part of the Merola Opera Program’s Schwabacher Summer Concert Series, and Nemorino in L’Elisir d’Amore with Yale Opera.

On the concert stage, he has performed as the tenor soloist in Mendelssohn’s Elijah with the New Choral Society, Handel’s Messiah with the Brandford Chamber Orchestra, and Mozart’s Requiem with the Waterbury Symphony.

He was the recipient of the Fritz Wunderlich Award from the 2024 Opera Index Vocal Competition, second place winner of the New England District of the Met’s 2022 Laffont Competition, and third prize winner of the 2021 Premiere Opera Foundation International Vocal Competition, among others.

He is an alumnus of the Merola Opera Program at San Francisco Opera and the Académie du Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and holds degrees in voice from Seoul National University and Yale University.

Eunae Jin_Cello

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Eunae Jin began playing the cello at age 14. She completed Artist Diploma at Curtis Institute of Music with a full scholarship award under the guidance of Peter Wiley and Gary Hoffman. She is a graduate of the Ewha Womans University (Bachelor of Music ’15) and The Juilliard School (Master of Music ’21) under the tutelage of Il-Hwan Bae and Clara Minhye Kim.

A wholehearted and expressive Cellist, Eunae Jin has appeared internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. She

made her Seoul Art Center debut as recital for the Rising Artist in South Korea and also performed with Ewha Symphony Orchestra. She is a prize winner of numerous solo competitions.

Furthermore, she also performed various ensembles and orchestras at Carnegie hall, Morse Hall, Alice Tully hall, Peter Jay sharp Theatre at Lincoln Center, and Kimmel center in New York City and Philadelphia as well as Europe and Asia. As an active chamber musician, she has given many performances with different ensembles, including 2021 music of change at Curtis music institute, which is dedicated to the performance of contemporary music. She was on the Europe tour as a member of Ewha chamber orchestra. She also participated in the chamber project of Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra and collaborated with London Cello Orchestra as a member of Ewhacelli.

Joseph Jin_ Violin

New York City based Korean Violinist, Joseph Jin, has been cooperating with Roslyn Church  Choir as a Music Director and Performer since 2022. He is doing his Master's degree in Mannes school of Music with Stefan Jackiw, and he graduated Seoul National University (Bachelor of Music 19') under tutelage of Younguck-Kim.

He lead several orchestras as a concertmaster which were Ministry of National Defense Orchestra, Seoul National University Orchestra, and currently he is leading Mannes Orchestra. In addition, he performed various ensembles and orchestras at Alice Tully Hall, Tishman Auditorium, Scandinavia House, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Steinway Hall, Seoul Art Center Concert Hall and IBK Hall, Lotte Concert Hall, Sejong Chamber Hall, LG Art Center, Sapporo Concert Hall, and Suntory Hall in the states and Korea as well as Japan. He awarded from numerous solo competitions.

Jihye Yang_Piano

Jihye Yang is a Korean pianist that began playing the piano at the age of five. Yang is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Mannes School of Music under the tutelage of Pavlina Dokovska and Vladimir Valjarevic. She graduated from Pusan National University (Bachelor of Music `22) under the tutelage of Sora-Oh. She recently attended the Korea-China Exchange Concert, where she was invited by the Qingdao Broadcasting Station, as well as the Pyeongchang Peace Festival. Throughout her career, Yang was selected as Piano Rising Star and has played at Busan Maru International Music Festival (BMIMF). Additionally, Yang made her new artist debut concert with the recommendation of the Korea Piano Society. Furthermore, Yang has had the privilege of performing with the Jinju Philharmonic Orchestra, and she is a prize winner of numerous solo competitions. Currently, she is expanding her musical footprint by playing various works as a solo and member of the Menuha Ensemble.

Chanhee Jin_Violin

Chanhee Jin started learning the violin at the age of three and has demonstrated exceptional musical talent ever since.

He has won multiple Grand Prizes in international competitions and currently serves as the concertmaster of the Juilliard Pre-College Symphony Orchestra, showcasing his leadership and artistry at a young age.
