How it works: when you click the extension icon, it scans the web page you currently have open to locate links to the restaurant's menu. All scanning and processing happens locally on your device, inside your browser. No page content, no browsing history, and no personal information is ever sent to any server.

Menu Finder uses no analytics, no accounts, and no tracking of any kind. It requests only the permissions it needs to function:

- activeTab — to read the currently open restaurant page and find its menu links.

- scripting — to scan the page content for menu links and PDFs.
