Teenagers and young people with mental health issues often face school problems for a number of reasons. Addressing mental health needs in school is extremely necessary as 1 in 5 children and youth have an emotional , behavioural or mental health condition that can be treated and 1 in 10 young people have a mental health problem that is serious enough to affect how they perform at home , in school or in society.
