Dr. Mengyang Zhang

Dr. Mengyang Zhang joined the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of Cincinnati as an Assistant Professor in January 2026. Before coming to Cincinnati, she was a postdoctoral researcher in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University with Prof. Alexandria Boehm. Dr. Zhang earned her Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineering from George Washington University while being co-advised at the National Institutes of Health. She received her bachelor’s degree from Hunan University and her master’s degree from Tsinghua University in China.
