Mengo (the "App") respects your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information related to your use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to our servers:

- Pomodoro settings: Timer durations, theme, language, sound/vibration toggles

- Focus statistics: Daily/weekly pomodoro count, focus minutes

- Current task and history: Task descriptions and completion records (if you use this feature)

- Background image path: The path to the image you chose (the image itself is stored only on your device)

2.2 Photo Library and Media

When you use "Select background image," the App requests photo library access to read the image you select and set it as the timer background. The selected image is copied to the App's private directory; we do not upload your photo library.

2.3 Sharing

When you use "Share," the shared content (e.g. today's/week's pomodoro stats) is sent via the system share sheet to the app you choose. We do not receive or store what you share through the system.

2.4 What We Do Not Collect

- The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, phone number, or other identity information.

- The App does not send your usage data (e.g. timer records, settings) to our servers.

3. Storage and Security

Data described above is stored in the App's sandbox on your device. We recommend that you secure your device (e.g. passcode) to reduce the risk of unauthorized access.

4. Third Parties

The App may use services provided by the operating system (e.g. photo library, vibration, share sheet, local storage). These are subject to the OS and third-party (e.g. Apple) privacy policies.

5. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal identity information from children under the applicable age. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy. Updated versions will be published in the App or through other reasonable means. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

PART B – TERMS OF USE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Mengo (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App provides Pomodoro timer, focus statistics, local settings, and sharing. Your data is stored primarily on your device; we do not upload your personal data to our servers.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

- Use the App only in a lawful manner

- Not use the App for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws or others' rights

- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the normal operation of the App

4. Intellectual Property

The App, its interface, design, and content are owned by the developer or rights holder. You may not copy, modify, or use them for commercial purposes without permission.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App. The App does not constitute medical, legal, or professional advice.

6. Changes and Termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published in the App or through other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the App (to the extent permitted by law).

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your country/region. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation where possible.
