| By: Ida Gomes (Class of ’67)
Our Niagara trip started with an appetizing Breakfast with Coffee, complimentary from Silu Fernandes, before boarding the bus at Square One. Deacon Jerry Almeida said a travel prayer, which was very enriching, and a great way to start our journey. It was a pleasant journey with lots of chatting, singing, jokes until we got to the Magnotta Winery. This was a great setting to experience Niagara wines and a lot of Magnotta wine was purchased by all.
We then traveled to Niagara-on-the-Lake where we were taken by mini buses into town and walked through this attractive town with lots of colour from the still blooming flowers. Lots of shopping was available for the ladies and it was a beautiful day just to sit outside and observe people leisurely doing their own thing.
Once we arrived to Niagara Casino, everyone went his or her own way. Some to the Falls, others for lunch, while few shopped at the fine stores by the Casino and the enthusiastic players straight to the Casino.
On our ride home we carried on with jokes, bingo, music, giveaways and gifts. This Niagara trip overall was a pleasurable, exciting and gorgeous day. This was only one event in the several this week of the Dr. Ribeiro School reunion that brought together many new friends from overseas and fellow Canadians.

Norma Zehnder: What a wonderful 2012 Class Reunion. Merwin, I know that you are responsible for our Class Reunion, but I'm not going to go on and on as I know you don't want the Class to keep complimenting you - so I will stop. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting ALL our class-mates and look forward to the next Reunion and no doubt Joan will do a wonderful job - just like you, if not better! God Bless!

Vivienne D'Silva: What a lovely collection of memories. Love the old photos, they are so cute. Marriage of Figaro, dont they all look so good, especially my lovely friend Fiona with Norman and Selina (from class of '63). As for the hunks, well now you know why it was so difficult to study at DRGS with all those gorgeous guys. Porthos was well ahead with his beach wear - very 21st century boy. Yum yum.

Stella and Gerry Almeida: What a wonderful time we had! It was a pleasure to meet up with all our class mates of '67 and more.......! Our sincere thanks to all and to Norman and his committee who all need to be commended for all the hard work in organizing this event. Mervin for the continued and wonderful work on the site. Avin did an excellent job of keeping the class of '67 well updated and the display of his talents in producting the "Wall of Fame" collage is so exquisite. Appreciate all from across the seas that made a special effort to meet up with us. Looking forward to the next renunion!
