The FOMPIP is happy to announce the formation of a "Tennis Courts" sub committee chaired by Ms. Jodi Harris. Jodi, Ryan Madrigal and Melanie Hassel Healey will continue working with the DPW, CPC and Selectmen to coordinate the planning, fundraising and repair/construction of the tennis courts at Memorial Park.
The total cost for this project is approx. $132,000.00. The CPC has approved funding for the project for $49,999.00 (for materials only, per rules) and town meeting has already voted to approve that Warrant.
We have fundraised a very good amount to date. We are presently looking for approx.$25,000.00 to complete the fundraising and hopefully start the build in Spring/Summer of 2023.
You can reach out to Jodi at (508) 596-3767 or jodiharris.consulting@verizon.net for more info on the tennis buildout or to coordinate donations.

The Friends of Memorial Park Improvement Project, Inc. We work under the supervision and control of the Essex DPW and in tandem with the the Veteran's Subcommittee.
