Tomato gravy

What you need:

Cast iron skillet


Ingredients:

3 tbsp butter

3 tbsp flour all-purpose

1 14.5 oz can of of crushed or diced tomatoes

1 c chicken broth

1/4 c heavy whipping cream

Salt & pepper to taste


What you need to do: 

in your cast iron over medium heat add your butter and let it melt. Now add your flour and let it cook 1-2 minutes. Now add your chicken broth and tomatoes. Mix and add your salt & pepper. Now add your cream and wait until everything thickens. 


Helpful hints: if you want chunky gravy add the diced tomatoes. You want smooth gravy  used the crushed
