Shredded Chicken

What you need:

1 pan

Ingredients:

1 med onion

2 stalks of celery

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp milk

1 can cream of chicken soup (family size)

1 box stove top stuffing

3 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast

salt & pepper to taste

 

What you need to do:

Boil your chicken and shred. I place 3 pounds of chicken in a pot cover with water and add 2 tbsp chicken bouillon.  Drain chicken. In the pot place 2 tbsp butter, onion and celery and cook until onions are translucent.  Add cream of chicken, 2 tbsp milk, 1 box of chicken stuffing, mix well. Then add chicken back into pot and stir over low heat until warmed.

 

Helpful Hints: 

when you drain the chicken, save your broth for noodles. You can serve this on buns, but we just eat it as the main dish.
