Meet your instructor- Melissa Wolfson

About Me

Hello!

My name is Melissa Wolfson. I have been a math professor at Miramar college since 2015. I teach a lot of different math courses at Miramar college. The courses I teach most often are Calculus, Statistics, and Differential Equations.

I am married with two kids (twin boys) and we also have two dogs and two cats. It is a real two-by-two situation over here! Lately we've been spending a lot of our free time over in mission bay at fiesta island so that the dogs can play too. I also enjoy hiking and exploring new places, although I have not had a lot of trips lately since our kids were born.

I love my job and I hope that I get a chance to show you how much I love teaching math!

Here is a picture from a trip I recently took with my sister to Sedona, Arizona! (I am on the right with the orange and white hat)
