Professor for Data Assimilation
My research is at the interface of numerical analysis, numerical linear algebra, computational science, data assimilation and inverse problems.
Research interests: Numerical linear algebra, matrix theory, applications, inverse problems, image processing, data assimilation, iterative methods for eigenvalue problems and linear systems, Krylov subspace methods and preconditioners, model order reduction, low-rank approximation.
